Restricted User OKR Permissions

Overview

OKR Permissions control visibility and editability of Objectives and Key Results for restricted users. Assign Objectives and Key Results to business units or individual users to manage their view, edit, or share permissions.

Restricted Member Access

When assigning a user a 'Restricted Member' role, remember they see only objectives and key results explicitly shared with them. Administrators, Full Access, and Member Roles have access to all Objects and Key Results.

Sharing an Objective with a Restricted User

Assign Objective to Business Unit

To restrict access to an objective, assign it to a specific business unit. This ensures only restricted users with delivery permissions for that business unit can view or edit the objective. Select the desired business unit from the dropdown menu for the objective.

Share Objective Directly with User

To grant direct access to an objective for specific individuals, share it with them. This allows you to provide users with view, edit, or edit and share permissions for only that objective. Use the sharing feature on the objective to select a user and choose their access level.

Sharing a Key Result with a Restricted User

Objective and Key Result Sharing

Sharing an Objective does not automatically share all Key Results linked to the Objective.

Key results need to be shared separately.

Assign Key Result to Business Unit

To restrict access to a key result, assign it to a specific business unit. This ensures only restricted users with delivery permissions for that business unit can view or edit the key result.

Share Key Result Directly with User

To grant direct access to a key result for specific individuals, share it with them. This allows you to provide users with view, edit, or edit and share permissions for the key result.
